Another update, with pictures of our newest family member. Kim took in a lost dog, and we've had no luck locating his owner, so we'll be keeping him. The boys named him "Chase".
Another great soccer start for Thomas. And CJ did really well at his T-ball tryouts.
Thomas wants to know if anybody can solve this math problem: ABCD x 4 = DCBA. Each letter represents a digit. For example, if A is 4, then B, C, and D can't be 4. By the way, he solved it after a couple of hours of effort.

Hope the new year is treating everyone well. We finished 2004 still in shock from our white Christmas, the first one ever recorded in our neck of the woods, and the largest snowfall on record here! Definitely a once-in-a-lifetime event.
The boys are back in school again. They're both doing well, CJ with early reading, and Thomas in all areas. He's playing soccer again this spring after another successful fall season where he averaged about 2 goals per game. CJ played as well but is now turning his focus to T-ball, his first go at it.
We just celebrated our 10th anniversary this past week, but won't be treating ourselves to a nice vacation until Thanksgiving. Lots of events to keep us busy until then.

The end of another summer and the start of another school year. So far so good. Made trips to Georgia, San Antonio, and Houston and otherwise lounged around Grandpa's pool. Joseph, Alison, and Riley were able to make it down here and the cousins are getting along great.
Thomas is off to another good start in school. He has the same teacher as last year and is staying busy. He recently finished reading the last of his 5 Harry Potter books and is anxiously awaiting the next release. CJ's in his last year of preschool, attending 3 days a week. He learned to ride his bike earlier this year and stays active constantly. We'll be celebrating his 5th birthday this coming week. He's currently in the middle of a full-blown Spiderman phase, even has his Spiderman halloween costume already.
Kim's back in the room mom / soccer mom routine. Both guys will play again this season, and Thomas will continue his tennis lessons. Summer's definitely winding down and it's back to business.

Had an enjoyable Christmas and New Year. The boys are getting back into their routine, although CJ is having a tough time of it. Kim has been extremely busy since just before Thanksgiving substituting for a class of 1st and 2nd graders. Fortunately, tomorrow is her last day, and CJ is looking forward to the fact that he can go back to his original M-W-F preschool schedule. Thomas has turned his interests to math, science, and now history, and is still doing well at tennis. Both boys will play soccer this season, this being CJ's first go at it.
